Fritz Böhm's first feature film as a director and screenwriter, also by screenwriter Florian Eder, Wildling (Wild Creatures 2018) is a film that premiered last month at the SXSW Film Festival. Starring Liv Tyler, Brad Dourif, Bel Powley, Mike Faist and Collin Kelly-Sordelet; music by Paul Haslinger, composer of Fear The Walking Dead, and with the direction in photography of Toby Oliver, who did an excellent job last year with Get Out, the film has received divided critics that notice the thematic inconsistencies or the imbalance between sections, but they recognize a style that is not negligible. I subscribe to these judgments, because I see in Wildling a potential jewel that is not sustained, in my opinion, by the mistakes of a creative team that puts effort, but lets see its inexperience
