The actors Dax Shepard (“Hit & Run”, “Parenthood” TV) and Michael Peña (“Ant-Man”) star in the action comedy “CHIPS”, directed by Shepard from his own screenplay.

Jon Baker (Shepard) and Frank Ponch Poncherello (Peña) have just joined the California Patrol in Los Angeles, but for very different reasons. Baker is an old professional motorcyclist who tries to put his life and his marriage in order. Poncherello is an undercover federal agent investigating a multi-million dollar robbery. The rookie and the tough professional get together, but they collide very often, but with Baker’s unique skills and Ponch’s ability on the street, it might work. if they do not go crazy first.
