A new trailer and a series of black-and-white ink wash-style posters for Chinese director Zhang Yimou's latest feature film Shadow, set to debut in the Chinese mainland on September 30, was released online on Wednesday. One of the most-anticipated films set to hit cinemas during the annual National Day holiday period that kicks off on October 1, the film is the renowned Chinese director's latest work after the poorly received China-Hollywood co-production The Great Wall in 2016.
