The Little Stranger

Dr. Faraday leads a quiet life as a rural doctor. During the long hot summer of 1947, he went to the Hundreds Hall mansion to help a patient. It has been the home of the Ayres family for more than two centuries, but now it is in decline. Mrs. Ayres and her two children, Caroline and Roddy, are obsessed with a way of life that seems to dwell with them in their decadent home.
